TEI’s Compliance Verification Engineers (CVEs), Civil Aviation Authority representatives and Undersecretaries for Defense Industries representatives were attended to our class. We discussed both Authority and industry expectations from these ARPs to show compliance with certification requirements.

SAE S-18 Aircraft Development & Safety Assessment Committee was held in Las Vegas, USA. TAOS instructor has been a member of this committee since Jan 2008 providing key contribution to development of ARP-4754 (B) and 4761 (A).

It is very important to provide sufficient development assurance based on the criticality level of the functions and systems. These trainings bridge system safety processes and system engineering processes. It was very productive and interactive training class.

Aspilsan Energy Inc. has EASA Production Organization Approval (POA under Part 21 Subpart G) and AP to DOA (under 21A.14(b)) for aircraft batteries (ETSO C-173). TAOS has been working with Aspilsan since EASA applications and supported Aspilsan for establishment of Part 21 infrastructure. Always fun to work with them.

ARP-4754A Aircraft and System Development Processes and ARP-4761 Safety Assessment Processes are two accepted guidelines by Authorities to show compliance to certification requirements.
